Bennett F. Love, 70, of Perryton, died Oct. 5, 2020.
Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral home.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be practiced and occupancy number will be limited.
He was born June 12, 1950 in Woodward, OK, and married Gwen Lewis on May 25, 1972 in Perryton. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for over 20 years and was a master sergeant. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen, in 2015; his parents, James and Anna Bell Love; and one granddaughter.
He is survived by two sons, Bennett F. Love, Jr., of Clarksville, TN and Brian Love of Perryton; one daughter, Melissa Glass of Perryton; one brother, Jim Love of Fritch; and 11 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell, Amarillo, TX 79109, or to one’s favorite charity.
