Antonia Gabatia Gonzales Tarango

Antonia Gabatia Gonzales Tarango, 90, of Perryton, died Jan. 24, 2021.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be broadcast live on the funeral home’s Facebook page. A link to the page is on the website, boxwellbros.com.

The funeral home will be open for viewing/visitation on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. A rosary service will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

She was born May 10, 1930 in San Miguel County, NM and married Francisco Tarango in October 1973 in Perryton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino and Gregorita (Salaz) Lovato; two sons, Phillip Mark Gonzales and Francisco Tarango, Jr.; grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco, of the home; seven daughters, Sadie Gallegos and Mary H. Delrosa, both of Elk City, OK, Florentina Becerril, Katherian Gonzales, Mary Tarango, Oralia Tarango and Cipriano Tarango, all of Perryton; two sons, Filadelfio Steve Gonzales of Elk City, OK and Servando Tarango of Gruver; one sister, Elsie Rodriguez of Lubbock; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
