Virginia Viola Goode Meyer, 96, of Darrouzett, died Sept. 17, 2026.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born March 27, 1930 in Hollis, OK, and married Melvin Lawrence Meyer on Sept. 2, 1948.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; one infant daughter, Melvina Meyer; two grandchildren, Olivia Jones and Brad Jones; and her parents, Henry Osburn and Lydia Alma Weeks Goode.
She is survived by six daughters, Cecelia Cates of Beaver, OK, Glenda Jones and Jamie McNeely, both of Darrouzett, Joni Baker of San Antonio, and Diana Helfenbein and Vickie Thurman, both of Perryton; 15 grandchildren; 44 greatgrandchildren; and 16 greatgreat- grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Darrouzett EMS.
