The Museum of the Plains has added a new display of signs damaged in the tornado that struck Perryton in June 2023. The signs include Ellis Theater, Equity Exchange, Jewell Boot Repair, La Casita, and even a sign for the museum itself.

Perryton Lions Club members got together last Saturday morning to get fireworks unloaded and fuses installed in anticipation of their annual fireworks show coming up this Friday, the Fourth of July, at Wolf Creek Park. The annual fireworks display will begin just after dusk, about 9:30-9:45 p.m.
