Fireworks show set at Lake Fryer

The Perryton Lions Club will be hosting its annual Fourth of July Fireworks display at Lake Fryer in Wolf Creek Park on Saturday, July 4. This annual fireworks show by the Lions Club is a long-standing tradition in the community. The display will begin just after dusk, about 9:30- 9:45 p.m.

Vehicles vandalized

Several cases of vandalism and a burglary were investigated by law enforcement during the week. Juan Herrera, 1617 S. Drake, reported two rifles, scopes and loaded magazines inside a Palmetto State Armory rifle bag had been stolen from his vehicle. Total value was estimated at around $800.
