Bad omen

A dinner party consisting of 13 people in England during the Middle Ages was considered the worst of omens. It foretold the impending death of one in the group. This was associated with the Last Supper, and also with a witches coven, as both had 13 members.

BLOOD FOR LIFE

Coffee Memorial Blood Center held a blood drive at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus on Tuesday afternoon, as dozens of Ochiltree County residents lined up to give the gift of life. Suleyma Rosales of Perryton was the first person to donate blood on Tuesday. A total of 31 donors were recorded.
