Few offenses are reported

A handful of offenses were reported to local law enforcement during the week. Osvaldo Frias contacted the sheriff’s department after finding his bull dead in the pasture off of FM 1267 and County Road 11. The bull had apparently been shot twice.

Active COVID-19 cases in county dip slightly

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County dropped slightly this week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 stand at 24, falling from 25 cases last Thursday afternoon.

United/United Way golf tourney set

Athletes, band physical night set
