LEARNING ABOUT POVERTY Members of Leadership Perryton XIX participated in a Community Action Poverty Simulation on Friday, learning about some of the realities and challenges faced by low-income families. Participants took on the roles of families trying to provide basic necessities and shelter while volunteers portrayed community organizations, banks, employers, and more.
