Active COVID cases down

Active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County have again taken a sharp drop. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 have dropped to 32, down from 40 on Thursday afternoon.

Toys for Tots preparing for giving season

Toys For Tots is back this holiday season to help the less fortunate children in Ochiltree, Hansford, and Lipscomb Counties, and they are asking for the community’s help this year. The organization needs toys for kids of all ages, from infants to 18 years old. Monetary donations are also welcome.

Tips still needed on recent hit gas meter

Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers still needs information this week to solve a case of damage to a gas meter. On Oct. 22, it was reported to the police department that a gas meter was struck and damaged in the 300 block of North Jefferson.

Nyman, Eylar named Students of Month

Perryton High School seniors Saleen Nyman and Zane Eylar have been chosen as the Students of the Month by the Perryton Club. They, along with their parents, were guests of the club at it’s Nov. 4 meeting.
