“MESSIAH” PERFORMED IN PERRYTON

“MESSIAH” PERFORMED IN PERRYTON—George Frideric Handel’s “The Messiah” was performed for the 66th year on Sunday, Nov. 28, at First United Methodist Church in Perryton. More than 40 musicians from Perryton and surrounding communities came together to perform the seasonal classic.

County COVID-19 cases bounce up

After several weeks of declines, active COVID-19 cases have risen in Ochiltree County. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 rose to 22, up from 13 last Tuesday afternoon.

Band boosters to hold fundraiser banquet

The Perryton Band Booster Club will hold a special fundraising banquet in December. The December to Remember Holiday Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11, from 6-8 p.m. inside the Community Worship Center. Formal attire is recommended for the banquet.
