TxDOT reminds Texans to find a sober ride this New Year’s holiday

With 2021 almost in our rear view mirrors, sights are set on festivities to ring in the New Year. These joyous celebrations often include alcohol. That is why the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) wants to remind Texans to always find a sober ride as part of its Drive Sober. No Regrets.

Local businesses set New Year’s closings and hours

The end of 2021 is almost upon us, and many Perryton businesses, organizations, and governmental offices will be closed to let their employees celebrate the New Year’s holiday. Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus is closed for their holiday break and will remain closed ‘til January 10, 2022.

County receives 2021 audit

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. The primary item on the commissioners’ agenda was the county’s audit report for fiscal year 2021 from Doshier, Pickens & Francis, LLC, an accountancy firm from Amarillo.
