City’s sales tax payment is up 3%

The City of Perryton’s monthly continued to show a steady increase.For November, the city received $254,753, which is close to 3% higher than its payment in November 2024. For the year so far, the city is up 2.5% over 2024 payments, with a little over $2.8 million.

County and city residents visited the Ochiltree County Expo Center for a meet-and-greet reception for Marcus Preuninger, the county’s new Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service agent. Preuninger took over the position on Nov. 1. He has previously served as an agent in Mitchell County, Gray County, and Reno County in Kansas.

Parkinson’s Disease support group to meet The Perryton Area Parkinson’s Disease Support Group will meet Friday, Nov. 14, at noon at New Hope Fellowship, 2821 S. Ash. A lunch will be provided. Dave and Carol Pshigoda will provide the program on LightWave patch phototherapy products.
