Burglary investigated

A burglary and a hit and run accident topped activity for police during the week. Perryton Tire and Glass, 19 1/2 Main, reported a socket set in a case had been stolen. It was valued at $100. The Holiday Inn Express, 2723 S. Main, reported a hit and run to a wood fence on the property.

RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR JENNINGS

Friends, family, and city staff gathered on Wednesday afternoon for a retirement reception for Don Jennings. Jennings has been the finance director for the City of Perryton for 30 years.
