The Panhandle Crisis Center is offering the opportunity to help children in need this Christmas with the Angel Tree Project, with Angel Trees set up in local businesses to let benefactors purchase gifts for kids.

HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE DONATION—Hospice of OGH Volunteers received a donation of $4,900 from Randy and Janice McLain. Blood drive set at FPC Coffee Memorial Blood Center will hold a community blood drive on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 1-6 p.m. at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus. Photo identification will be required.

DPS increases holiday traffic enforcement for Thanksgiving

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is stepping up enforcement for the Thanksgiving holiday to ensure people are able to get to and from their celebrations safely. Texas Highway Patrol Troopers will increase enforcement on the roads from Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 27.
