McGaughy receives DAR Good Citizens Award scholarship

Maisy McGaughy, a senior at Perryton High School was named the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens $1,000 Scholarship.The presentation was made Tuesday, Dec. 17.

DPS heightens enforcement over holidays

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is committed to keeping Texans safe this holiday season. The Texas Highway Patrol (THP) will conduct its annual Christmas and New Year’s holiday traffic enforcement campaign beginning Dec. 20 and running through the rest of the year.

Hospital board reviews pain management plan

The Ochiltree County Hospital District Board of Directors met last Monday evening in the conference center at Ochiltree General Hospital.Among other items on the agenda, the board spoke with Josh Stevenson, director of anesthesia, concerning a proposal from OGH’s anesthesia department.

The facility has 32 exam rooms on 14,626 square feet, with space for nine potential health care providers.
