Perryton Junior High School’s sixth grade choir competed at the Dumas Music Festival on April 18. They performed “Ave Maria,” arranged by Patrick Liebergen, and “Oye” by Jim Papoulis, as well as a sight reading for a piece they had never seen before. The judges awarded the choir a perfect score, or sweepstakes prize. The Junior High Choir will perform their spring concert on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
