County sets public hearing on budget
The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court will meet on Monday, Sept. 14, at 9 a.m. in the courthouse. Among items on the agenda, the commissioners will hold a public hearing on the 2020-21 county budget, as well as adopting the budget and a tax rate for the county. The commissioners will also consider building plans for an airport hangar, set the sheriff’s and constable’s fees, and discuss contracts with the Museum of the Plains, the Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club, and the Perryton Rodeo Association.
Hospital board to meet for budget hearing
The Ochiltree County Hospital District Board of Directors will meet on Monday, Sept. 14, at noon in the conference center at Ochiltree General Hospital. The board will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2020-21 budget, adopt an official budget, and propose a 2020 ad valorem tax rate.
