The Perryton School Board approved the district’s budget and adopted tax rates for 2020-21 year Tuesday evening.
The board approved a balanced budget of $22.1 million. Chief Financial Officer Doug Kile noted that the new budget included a $345,000 reduction in salaries, not counting benefits, mainly through attrition to bring salary levels in line with enrollment.
