Some 1,460 county voters cast ballots in the March 5 primary election, a 28.5% total turnout. That included 1,432 in the Republican primary and 28 in the Democratic primary.
The only locally contested race on the ballot was for Ochiltree County constable. Tim Olivarez topped Nick Hale by three votes, 695 to 692.
