    MUSEUM DEBUTS NEW DUGOUT EXHIBIT
One of the new exhibits at the Museum of the Plains is a model of a dugout dwelling. Dugouts were used as ranch buildings, line shacks, and temporary dwellings up until the 1920s and 1930s in Ochiltree County. The museum’s dugout required the work of 8-10 volunteers to build. Pictured putting some finishing touches on the exhibit is the museum’s assistant director Rena Gay Richardson.
