Ochiltree County has marked its first positive rabies case for 2021.
Dr. Randy Skaggs, rabies control officer, said a horse in a feed yard in the eastern part of Ochiltree county has tested positive for rabies. He added there was one human exposure.
The horse was originally from Oklahoma and returned there before its diagnosis, Skaggs said.
