ECLIPSE EXCITEMENT

  • Students from Wright Elementary got to enjoy some time watching the solar eclipse on Monday afternoon. All students got their own pair of eclipse glasses so they could safely view the eclipse, but students in Donna Wright’s second grade class had their own paper plate-improved versions, partly so they’d make a better fit and partly for extra protection. Though Monday’s eclipse was only partial in Ochiltree County, the path of the total solar eclipse forecasted for August 2045 will pass over Perryton.
