Ranger senior Isreal Marquez hoisted the PHS boys cross country championship trophy, while being carried by the football team, during the homecoming pep rally last Friday. The Ranger cross country team handily won the district championship with 20 points, well ahead of second place Canyon with 45. They will now compete in the regional meet Nov. 10 in Lubbock.
