In a special meeting Tuesday evening, the Perryton School Board accepted the resignation of one trustee and appointed another, as well as hearing an update on recent action by the Texas Legislature.
The board accepted the resignation of Pete De Santiago from the board. In his resignation letter, he said he was resigning to allow a family member to be hired by the school district.
