DARK CLOUDS OVERHEAD Anyone looking south of Perryton Monday evening got treated to the sight of ominous black clouds heading for the city. Perryton and Ochiltree County have enjoyed a bit more rain over the past week, but the rain has come with lots of thunder and lightning, as well as some damaging hail.
A series of storms blew through Ochiltree County last weekend and this week, bringing larger amounts of rain than residents have seen in a few months.
Rain and thunderstorms visited the area last Friday night, Saturday evening, and Monday night.
