Ochiltree County’s COVID-19 numbers remain over 100 active cases.
According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, there have been an overall total of 341 COVID-19 cases, up from 310 last Friday evening.
The state’s data shows there are currently 108 active COVID-19 cases in the county, up from 102 last Friday.
The state says there have been 228 recoveries in the county and five confirmed deaths.
The data in the state’s website can lag at least a few days out of date, due to the high volume of cases TDSHS must process.
Ochiltree General Hospital released a new county COVID-19 scorecard on Monday morning indicating 122 positive cases in county residents in the last two weeks, with another 32 positive cases in non-county residents.
OGH’s COVID-19 scorecard last Thursday morning showed 126 positive cases in county residents and 30 for non-county residents.
Ochiltree County remains under Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order mandating the wearing of protective masks.
Coronavirus symptoms include fever and/or chills, dry cough, fatigue, body aches and muscle or joint pain, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, nasal congestion, and a loss of taste or smell.
