The City of Perryton’s sales tax payment was up again this month.
For August, the city received $305,926, an increase of close to 5% over last August. Its year to date payments of $2.065 million trail slightly, less than 1%, over 2025.
Area cities were again a mixed bag, with most seeing decreases.
