The Perryton City Council adopted the 2021-22 budget, set the tax rate and increased sanitation and water rates at its meeting Tuesday evening.
The $15.3 million budget was adopted, and the council set a total tax rate of 48.3896 cents per $100 valuation. That rate includes 44.2409 cents for maintenance and operations and 4.1487 cents for City of Perryton 2015 tax notes.
