Area businesses, government offices, and organizations have announced their closings for Independence Day this year.
The Fourth of July is a federal holiday, so federal facilities such as the Perryton Post Office will be closed.
But the holiday also falls on a Saturday this year, so some businesses and offices that normally close for the holiday will close earlier in the week instead.
