Day quilt group has program on embroidery

The Friendship Quilt Guild day group met April 13 at Community Worship Center. The program was given by Barbara Hawkins on big stitching and embroidery. She had many examples of work she completed.

The comic strip, Peanuts, has appeared in some 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries and has been translated into 21 languages. United Feature Syndicate started the strip in syndication on Oct. 2, 1950. Snoopy first appeared two days later.
