Local basketball players got together on Saturday morning, Aug. 3, for some friendly competition in a 3v3 basketball tournament at Whigham Park. The tournament benefitted the Ludi Pena Martin Foundation and attracted players and fans from all over the city.

Oil Patch Golf Tournament is slated for next weekend

Area golfers are looking forward to next weekend’s 50th annual Oil Patch Golf Tournament.The tournament, hosted by the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14, at the Perryton Golf Course to honor the oil and gas industry in the Perryton area.
