Steve Harper

Steve Harper, 61, of Booker, passed away on May 2, 2022 in Amarillo.

A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Heart Cemetery in Booker.

Viewing/Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday, May 8, from 1-9 p.m. and Monday, May 9, from 9 a.m.-12\ p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.

Steve Norman Harper was born on April 30, 1961 to Roy David and Donna Kay (Denney) Harper in Medicine Lodge, KS. He was a directional driller for Stryker Energy Directional Services.. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, and working on vehicles. He also love working on his many projects.

He married Tina Foster on May 25, 2007 in Abilene. Steve loved spending time with his family fishing, camping and popping fireworks. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lance Robinson; and first wife, Sarina Harper.

He is survived by his wife, Tina, of the home; daughters, Stephanie Harper and husband, Jeremy Smith of Perryton, Chris McCartor and husband, Erik, of Wyoming, Ashley Lamm and husband, David, of Booker; sons, James Jimmy Harper and wife, Sulie, of Maryland, Jimmy Cook of Arkansas, and Justin Cook of Austin; one brother, Roy Harper and wife, Jeanie, of Perryton; one sister, Pam Anderson and husband, Carl, of San Angelo; grandchildren, Justice and Adrian Gonzalez, Jade McCartor, Jaiden Patterson, Zoe McCartor, Jacob Cook, Cayden Cook, Kylan Cook, Corbyn Still, Kason Cook, Colton Harper, Mason Lamm, Kinsler Cook, Zaybreigh Lamm, Kaneaan Cook, and Taylor Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
