Skinner dies July 18

Larry W. Skinner, 80, of Perryton, died July 18, 2025 in Amarillo.

No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

He was born July 10, 1945 in Prescott, AR, and married Crystal Maxwell on Oct. 10, 1966 in Perryton.

He worked as a pumper in the petroleum industry, and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion, where he served as the secretary for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Anna (Hickey) Skinner; and two brothers, Jerry Skinner and Paul Wayne Skinner.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; one son, Larry Don Skinner of Amarillo; one daughter, Tammy Jordan of Amarillo; and four grandchildren.
