Hilaria Guadalupe Navarrete, 75, of Perryton, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024 in Amarillo. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 10 at Key Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Joshua Popa officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
She was born Oct. 22, 1948 in Michoacan, Mexico. She had lived in the United States for 30 years. She was formerly a restaurant owner, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Miguel Angel Navarrete, and brother Felipe Diaz.
She is survived by two sons, Juan Carlos Navarrete of Hobbs, NM and Jose Navarrete of Perryton; two brothers, Marcos Diaz and Pedro Diaz, both of Mexico; two sisters, and twelve grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
