Sandra “Nana” Brewer, 77 of Spearman passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, in Spearman.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday,Dec. 1 1, 2021, in the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Sandra was born Dec. 23, 1943, in Borger to Alvin Archie and Betty Irene (Newman) Auld. She married Vernon Ray Brewer Aug. 15, 1963, in Pampa. Sandraworked at Waka School and loved seeing the kids! She loved to fish for crappie.
Sandra loved traveling to the Texas coast, and treasured her trips to Canada and Alaska with Ray. Sandra took great pride and joy in her gardens. She always looked forward to time with family and friends. Sandra was our rock!!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Irene Auld; her husband, Vernon Ray Brewer; her son, Denny; her stepson, Curtis Brewer; her sister, Betty Combs; and hergrandchild, Camerick McElroy.
Survivorsareherson, Michael “Deno” Brewer of Colbart, OK; two daughters, Carolyn Denise McElroy and her husband Leo of Spearman and Cathy Suzann Schick of Amarillo; stepson, Lonnie Brewer and his wife Susan of Burnet; brother, Michael Auld and wife Gaylynn of Round Rock; sister, Pennie Ormsby and her husband Paul Dean of Midland. Sandra was blessed with six precious grandchildren, Jenna, Kade, Rhiley, Christopher, Kayla and Harley and also her precious greatgrandchildren Zoey, Zoe, Paisley and Everlee; and her little companion Marlie, who brought her so muchjoy .
