Elsie Leota Trosper, 99, of Booker, died Nov. 27, 2020.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at Booker Friends Church with Ralph Maxfield officiating. Burial will follow in Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Scotty Schilling Funeral Director in Follett. Services will be live streamed on the Booke Friends Church’s Facebook page.
She was born Sept. 25, 1921 at the family homestead in Beaver County, OK. She attended school and graduated from the South Flat one room school house.
She married E.J. Trosper on Sept. 23, 1943, and lived in Booker. She worked at the Highland Hotel Coffee Shop, Lehman’s Grocery and later FirstBank Southwest, until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Marvin Trosper; her parents, John and Minnie (Stapp) Simpson; and 10 siblings.
She is survived by one son, Jay Trosper of Amarillo; one sister, Oneta Hoover of Booker; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
