Rites set for Sutton

Cliff Sutton, 80, of Pittsburg, formerly of Perryton, died May 3, 2021.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

The funeral home will be open for viewing and visitation on Thursday, May 6, and Friday, May 7, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

He was born Nov. 25, 1940 in Shattuck, OK, and married Judi Swink on May 23, 1986 in Perryton. He was vice president of Interstate Savings for 24 years, then raised ostrich for 10 years. In 2012, he retired and moved to Lake Bob Sandlin in Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Rachel (Littau) Sutton.

He is survived by his wife, Judi, of the home; his children, Kedra Reed and Clay Sutton, both of Amarillo, and Trevor Sutton of Fort Worth; one sister, Sonja Heald; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or one’s favorite charity.
