Jolene Miller
Jolene Miller, 89, of Perryton, died Nov. 24, 2022.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Perryton with Rev. Jeff Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery with Josh Merrell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1932 in Edinburg, and grew up in Ochiltree County. She was a secretary, bookkeeper and rural route carrier. She was a member of Key Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Miller; her parents, Leonard and Mildred (Wooten) Wright; one sister, Lenis Fern Seedig; and one brother, Jack Wright.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Merrell of Sedalia, CO and Durenda Pilcher of Perryton; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Key Heights Baptist Church, P.O. Box 923; First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1271; Museum of the Plains, 1200 N. Main; or one’s favorite charity.
