Bob Bond
Bobby Dean “Bob” Bond, 93, of Boerne, formerly of Perryton, died Sept. 15, 2025.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25, at 1 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.
He was born July 31, 1932 in Paoli OK. He married his wife, Geraldine on Feb. 6, 1960. He served in the U.S. Army, and attended the University of Oklahoma.
He was a former news editor for the Perryton Herald, and served 20 years as Ochiltree County auditor. He was song leader for First Assembly of God.
He moved to Stonewall Guest Ranch in Colorado for a period until returning to Perryton to continue his tax and bookkeeping business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Blanche Bond; two brothers, Jay Bond and Tom Bond; and three sisters, Lavonia Spencer, Lavada Bond and Carol Watson.
He is survived by four children, Paul Bond, Duane Bond, Diane Dalton and Deborah Clenney; 10 grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren.
