Rites set for former resident

Graveside services for Sharon Williams Wilcox, 70, of Miles City, MT, formerly of Perryton, will be held Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery.

She died Nov. 15, 2021 from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease. She had been a resident of Miles City for over 45 year.

She was born March 13, 1952 in Perryton, and graduated from Perryton High School in 1970. She attended Texas Tech University, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor of business administration degree in 1980. She later earned her CPA. She was executive director of the Custer County Community Health Center, retiring in 2014.

She was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish, and served 25 years on the Miles Community College board, including multiple terms as board chair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lorine (Littau) Williams; and her grandparents, Alton and Mamie Williams and Leonard and Olga Littau.

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Lofland of Miles City, MT; one stepson, Kevin Wilcox of Williston, ND; one sister, Lynne Williams of Portland, OR; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Miles Community College Foundation, 2715 Dickinson St., Miles City, MT 59301.
