James Earl Carnes, 61, of Perryton, died May 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Services will be held Friday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at Apostolic Lightouse Pentecostal Church in Perryton with Brother Jerry Little officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, from 3:30-p.m.; Thursday, June 1, from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.; and Friday, June 2, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
He was born Jan.. 6, 1962 in Perryton to Warren and Mary Belle (Gibson) Carnes. He was a volunteer firefighter for several years, and was co-owner and operator of Carnes Salvage.
He is survived by two brothers, Larry Carnes of Perryton and Raymond Carnes of Mangum, OK.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
