LaRetta Reynolds, 89, died March 28, 2022 in Colorado Springs, CO.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 21, at Fairview Cemetery in Cheyenne Wells, CO. Cremation was under the direction of The Springs Funeral Service in Colorado Springs.
She was born Dec. 15, 1932 in Oxford, NE, and grew up in Cheyenne Wells. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a second lieutenant. After her honorable discharge in 1954, she graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, with a bachelor of arts degree in history. She married Gene Reynolds in 1966. She worked as a copy editor at The Denver Post until her retirement. She lived in Northglenn, CO until 2017, when she moved to Colorado Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Neil and Rose Larmon; and two sisters, Rita Gardner and Mary Ann Young.
She is survived by one brother, Edwin Larmon of Perryton.
