Thomas Murl Morris, 69, of Perryton, died June 18, 2024 in McKinney.
Services were held Friday, June 21, at First Christian Church in Perryton. Burial followed in Blue Mound Cemetery in Balko, OK. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was bornApril 7, 1955 in Perryton. After graduating from high school, he received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Panhandle State University. He married his wife, Donna, Aug. 2, 1975 in Elkhart, KS.
He farmed, served as a fireman, EMT and worked for Ochiltree County as a jailer captain and jail administration. He was the Lions Club district president, and a deacon, elder and music director at First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; and his parents, Thomas Carl and Elnora (Pittman) Morris.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Morris of Oklahoma City, OK; one son, Thomas David Morris of Melissa; and two grandchildren.
