Louis Ray “Bo” Rice, 87, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Perryton, died July 29, 2025.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery, with Elwyn Rodgers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 16, 1937 in Peggs, OK, and married his wife, Ella Mae Rice April 12, 1958 in Tahlequah, OK. He worked in the oilfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Don Rice; his parents, Delbert and Opal (Young) Rice; and one great-grandchild.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Rice of Oklahoma City, OK; one son, Darrell Rice of Norman, OK; one brother, Cecil Rice of Enid, OK; two sisters, Georgia Mae Randolph of Los Alamos, NM and Helen Williams of Locust Grove, OK; seven grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
