June Frances Osborne, 96, of Amarillo, formerly of Perryton, died Dec. 23, 2023.
Services were held Friday, Dec. 29, at Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Perryton. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1927 in Farnsworth, and married Ray Osborne Nov. 4, 1953 in Perryton. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Jennie June Club. She also worked on the family farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents, Henry and Myrtle Brown; two sisters, Jewel Pearson and Joe Copeland; one brother, H.C. “Buster” Brown; and one granddaughter, Kristin Grunau.
She is survived by two daughters, Gayla Grunau and Tammie Hensley, both of Amarillo; one son, Lindey Osborne of Bastrop; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Mutt Hutt, 207 S. James St., Spearman TX 79081, Gideon’s Internal; or one’s favorite charity.
