Nina Merkel, 79, of Perryton, died Nov. 8, 2021
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery with Dan McDonald and Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 10 until 9 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. until service time.
She was born Feb. 3, 1942 in Perryton and married Leroy Merkel on Aug. 3, 1961 in Perryton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; her parents, Wayne and Celia (Nichols) Cudd; and one brother, Chuck Cudd.
She is survived by three children, Eddy Merkel and Kay Merkel, both of Booker, and Jeff merkel of Canyon; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
