James Martinez, 57, of Booker, died Nov. 22, 2021.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 29, at Community Worship Center in Perryton with Travis Preas and Jeff Hinshaw officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
He was born July 4, 1964 in Liberal, KS, and married Tracie Preas on Sept. 14, 1989 in Borger. He was a member of Word of Life Church in Perryton, and was founder and owner of Superior Valve Services since 2019.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Tracie, of the home; one son, Eli Martinez of Booker; one daughter, Ashlie Nunez of Gruver; his father, Lee Martinez of Lyons, KS; three brothers, Julian Martinez of Borger, Johnnie Martinez of Pueblo, CO and Pat Hernandez of Raton, NM; one sister, Joann Mascarenas of Pueblo, CO; and one grandchild.
