Lonzo Landrum

Lonzo Landrum, 90, of Perryton, died Jan. 18, 2022.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. before the service.

He was born Sept. 27, 1931 in Garland, and grew up in Hunt County, graduating from Ferris High School. He married Mary Belle Swink in 1963. She preceded him in death.

He worked for Sears & Roebuck for several years before moving to Perryton. After relocating, he worked for Dowell and North Plains Electric before operating several small businesses. He attended First United Methodist Church.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Lea Landrum Stockton; his parents, Albert and Dovie (Griffin) Landrum; and one brother, Henry Landrum.

He is survived by one grandson.
