Doyle “Lee” Lawson, 53, of Darrouzett, died Aug. 30, 2023 in Darrouzett.
Services were held Saturday, Sept. 2, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1970 in Garden City, MI, and graduated from Plymoth Salem High School in Canton, MI. He attended college for two years.
He married Sherrie Huntress on April 16, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. He lived in Ulysses, KS, working for Eloria Energy from 200810. He then worked at WB Supply from 2010-15 as an oilfield delivery driver. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Hardesty, OK.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and George Aton.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie, of Darrouzett; one daughter, Natilee Lawson Cox of Edmond, OK; two sons, Jacob Huntress of Ulna, LA and Cole Mayberry of Darrouzett; his parents, Doyle and Pat Lawson of Jackson, TN; and seven grandchildren.
