Patsy Ruth Carter Lamberson, 89, of Perryton, died Dec. 23, 2023 in Booker.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born July 26, 1934 in Atoka County, OK and married Jimmie D. Lamberson Jan. 21, 1952 in Hedley. She was a loan officer and volunteered at Wright Elementary. She was a member of Key Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie; her parents, Onis Carter and Sally Swindell; one brother, T. J. Carter; and one sister, Lois Johnson.
She is survived by one son, Richard Lamberson of Highland Ranch, CO; two daughters, Peggy Dunn of Booker and Rebecca Lamberson of Parker, CO; two sisters, Wilma Pitman of Anglers, OK and Rachel McAdoo of Robert Lee; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
