Jim Collinsworth, 73, of Perryton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, with Anthony Knowles and Willis Busenitz officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
James Paul Collinsworth, Jr. was born Aug. 24, 1949 in Perryton, to James Paul Collinsworth, Sr. and Eula (Knowles) Collinsworth. He married Twila Wiebe on April 28, 1973 in Perryton. He was a farmer-rancher in the Perryton area all his life. He loved his family, was an avid hunter, loved his best dog, Bud, and working with his cattle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. and Eula Collinsworth and a grandson, Devin.
He is survived by his wife, Twila, of the home; two daughters, Jamie (Sam) of Perryton and Paula (Kevin) of Perryton, TX; two sons, James Paul III “Jay” of Perryton and H.J. (Brooke) of Dumas; one brother, Joe Collinsworth of Perryton; grandchildren, Kaetlon (Bryce), Bailey (Hannah), Nolan, Zion, and Zoe; and three great-grandchildren, Karson, Charli, and Bryer.
